This year, Euskadi Josten 2026 – Hilando Euskadi 2026 takes things a step further with a revamped edition that retains its core purpose: to raise social and environmental awareness of the impact of the textile industry.
Fast fashion dominates the market and is now the second most polluting industry on the planet. Faced with this reality, we want to focus on two key players: on the one hand, designers, who wield enormous power in the choice of materials; and on the other, the public, whose purchasing decisions make all the difference.
What’s more, we’re committed to a clear strategy: tackling the problem at a local level, using local talent and materials. Because, yes, our region already has workshops, brands and enough textile waste to close the loop and move towards a truly circular economy.
In short, this is an initiative that aims to engage the local community and make a real impact… stitch by stitch. 🧵
